I replaced avg with avast and it cleaned more off but some problems still lingered including complete blocking of some websites and hanging when attempting web searches using anything (yahoo, google, etc.) The problem seems to have originated with either a trojan.agent or more likely because it showed up most recently, trojan.hanam.
